Let’s be honest, this time of year can be hard for a homeschool mom. Lack of motivation can hit us pretty hard sometimes, especially during the winter months when there’s sickness going around. Our whole household was hit by Influenza A a couple weeks ago, and trying to get back into our school routine has been a bit rough. But I have found that during these times, that it’s ok to start back slowly with just a couple subjects and gradually work back up to doing them all. We typically start back up with just math and language arts for a couple days and then add in another subject each day. Master Books really makes these situations a lot less stressful because the schedule is right there in the books and we can easily pick up right where we left off. The shorter lessons are also a great help!! We all have ‘off’ or unmotivated seasons, this is when it’s important to remember your why and ask the Lord to give you the strength and motivation to push through!! One encouraging Bible verse is John 16:33, which says, "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." This verse reminds us to find strength and hope in Christ during difficult times. May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope Romans 15:13 #masterbooks #motivation
